About OART Reading

Experience, patience and a very personal reason to teach.

OART Reading brings together decades of early-childhood classroom experience, more than ten years of reading tutoring, and a family story rooted in the value of education.

Teaching with patience, structure and encouragement

Years in early-childhood education have taught Linda that children do not all learn at the same pace or in the same way. Her approach is centered on patient one-to-one attention, clear skill-building and helping each child feel successful while reading.

The story behind the name
OART is a tribute to Linda's mother and the education she fought to give her children.

The name carries forward a family belief that education can change the direction of a life.

Why OART matters

Linda's mother lost her parents at a very young age. She and her siblings were taken out of school and made to work in the cotton fields. Because she understood what it meant to lose the opportunity to learn, she made sure Linda received the education she needed.

OART Reading is dedicated to her memory. The business is built around that same belief: every child deserves the chance to learn, grow in confidence and have someone take their education seriously.
